About a Mission
Selfless service to humanity, based on respecting each person as embodiment of the living God, is the basis of practice. Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission (headquarter in Belur Math, India) - a worldwide non-political, non-sectarian religious organization - has been aiming selfless service to people for more than a century, inspired with the ideas of renunciation and service promoted by Swami Vivekananda, a modern Indian philosopher of Vedanta and yoga. The main direction of movement is to distribute and bring to life teachings and instructions of a great spiritual ascetic of India, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa (1836-1886).

Activities
Programs, classes and meetings are led by Swami Shubhavratananda, a monk of the Ramakrishna Order.

Daily at 7 am and 7 pm. Meditation is conducted by Swami Shubhavratananda. Meditation lasts for one hour, includes singing prayers (bhajan, stotram) in Sanskrit, meditation in silence. It is open for free visits. before your visit please inform by contact numbers
Swami Vivekananda is a disciple and follower of Sri Ramakrishna. Puja is held annually in January-february. The program includes puja (ritual worship to Swami Vivekananda), a conversation about life and teachings of Vivekananda, refreshments (Prasad). Conducted by Swami Shubhavratananda. Free admission. Sarada Devi is spiritual wife of Sri Ramakrishna. The program is held annually in December-January The program includes puja (ritual worship to Sarada Devi), a conversation about life and spiritual value of Sarada Devi, her contribution to the Ramakrishna movement, as well as refreshments (Prasad). Start at 6 pm.
Conducting puja to the Indian goddess Kali. Puja is held annually in October. The program includes puja (ritual worship of the Indian goddess Kali), a conversation with Swami Shubhavratananda on the topic, refreshments (Prasad). Free admission. Start at 18:00.
Classes on ancient Indian scriptures, life –stories of Sri Ramakrishna's disciples, the basics of Sanatana Dharma, question-answer format satsangs (topics proposed by students) - every Sunday at 6 pm. Free admission. Conducted by Swami Shubhavratananda.
